RENEE'S AUTOBIOGRAPHY: (listen to her music)

Hello, my name is Renee M. Lopez, I was born on August 13, 1980 in New York and traveled between a few different states before ending up here in Colorado.

Music has been in and around my family a great deal, since before I was even born I was always the one singing and writing poetry and lyrics. I also tried to pursue playing the guitar, flute, and etc... but only got so far.

I think I realized my true passion was geared towards singing and writing. When I was about 10 yrs old I got my first real taste of performing (outside of home) in a song called “ They Are The Children” By Karen Karsh. A wonderful and inspired woman, pianist and vocalist with a visual impairment. From then on I took choir classes in school and then took up Classical Vocalized training at the Community College Of Aurora.

Now the only things really holding me back from my dreams are a little touch of stage fright, support and a lack of resources to get me started in the right direction. I hope one day here in the near future to overcome all my obstacles and to be performing as a lead vocalist for a rock ’n’ roll band.

I guess we’ll see what happens.
