REFLECTION
We are theREFLECTION- a woman’s quintet, dedicated to be a true REFLECTION of God's amazing Grace, Love, Light, and Glory. We all come from different parts of the world: Ukraine, Russia, Estonia and United States. What really unites us is the love for God and music!
We officially started singing in the spring of 2011. In December of 2011 we recorded our first album at Park's Studio in Arvada, CO.
Currently we enjoy performing at different local events and churches here in town, both American and Slavic. Most of all, we want to glorify our Lord and be a blessing to others.

Tanya, Natasha, Inna, Irina, and Rachel, all have unique musical backgrounds:
Tanya, alto/mezzo soprano, studied piano at the music school in Ukraine when she was eight years old. At sixteen, she attended college of music, where she studied music theory. Four years later she completed her Choir Conducting Degree at the Odessa Conservatory in Ukraine. She currently teaches piano/vocal/conducting.
Natasha, alto/mezzo soprano, has been singing and playing the piano since she was six years old. She started her music education at the music school in Estonia, where she studied piano. In the United States she continued studying music theory/history/composition for nearly 12 years. For over 20 years she has been teaching music, conducting the choir and playing the piano for her local church.
Inna, soprano, has done her eight year music training in the music school in Ukraine, where she studied both piano and the violin since she was five years old. She arranged music and continued her education as a conductor at the local college. She has been playing for the choir at her local church in Ukraine. She currently teaches piano and violin.
Irina, contralto, originally from Russia, has been singing in choir since she was just seven years old. She enjoys sharing music with others. Because of her great love for music, she raised her three children as musicians.
Rachel, soprano, is a talented vocalist and violinist, and the only “natural” American in this group :) She has been singing / harmonizing in church since she was about four years of age. Very early in life she developed a great passion and appreciation for classical music and asked her parents if she could play the violin. Rachel got her first violin for her fifth birthday and has been playing it ever since. In college she studied vocal with very talented instructors. This played a big influence on her repertoire and how she critiques her own singing. She currently sings and plays the violin in church.
For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth. (Psalm 108: 4-5).
